We have recently changed our name from Chichester Christian Fellowship to The King's Gate Church and have since launched a new website www.thekingsgatechurch.co.uk. We are a recognised church which has been active in the local community for more than thirty years, having been formed in the early 1970's. We meet publicly in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, England and consist of ordinary people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences who meet to worship God and live in relationship with Him. We seek to live the Christian faith in a vibrant and relevant way and to present it to others in an up-to-date manner, bearing witness to truth of Jesus Christ as our only Saviour and of the benefits of knowing and following Him.
We believe in the power of the Word of God and have witnessed God's provision of peace and strength for everyday living, and his provision of real hope for the future. As a Church we also believe that the Lord's call is to "love your neighbour as yourself" (Lev 19:18 NASB) and hence we are involved both locally and internationally in mission work and the improvement of individual, family and community life.
We are very pleased to welcome you to our Fellowship and pray that God will bless you richly as you worship Him with us. We want you to feel at home with us and able to join in our worship and our fellowship.
As a church we are a member of the Evangelical Alliance, a National Organisation founded in 1846 to bring evangelicals together from more than a dozen denominations, including Church of England, Baptists and Methodists.
Meeting Details
We meet on Sundays mornings from 10:30am at the Lower School Hall, Bognor Regis Community College, Westloats Lane, Bognor Regis. We have activities for the children such as Sunday School, Kindergarten and Creche.
We also meet two Sunday evenings a month (the second and last) at the Recital Hall, in Sudley Road, for a period of general worship and spending time in God's presence.
During the week we have a number of regular Prayer Meetings, House Groups and Young Peoples Groups.
