Thanks to the wonders of cheap storage, broadband availability and some exceedingly helpful companies we have launched a podcast of the Sunday morning talks. This means you can listen to our most recent studies for free and from the comfort of your own home. For those of you new to podcasts, below is a brief description of what a podcast is and how to subscribe to it. There is also a list of some of the available material.
What is a Podcast?
Put simply, you could think of a podcast as a way of getting radio shows, videos or, in our case, Bible studies automatically over the internet. Each time a 'podcaster', such as ourselves, publishes a new study everyone who subscribes to that podcast automatically gets told about it and can download it. This means that you can quickly and easily get our monthly talks on your computer, or MP3 player, for free!
How do I Subscribe?
You will need to have something called an 'RSS Reader' to be able to subscribe to a podcast. Fortunately, there are plenty available and you may already have one. For example, Apple's 'iTunes' is not only a useful music player but can also be used to receive podcasts. You can download it here.
Once you have an RSS reader, all you need to do is find our 'feed' and subscribe. You can find our podcast on the iTunes store - simply search for 'King's Gate Church'. Alternatively, you can put in the address of our feed into your RSS reader:
