Our Freedom in Christ. Religion is the worst enemy of the truth and Satan is constantly trying to impose religion on the people of God. Roger pleads for us to beware of religion and stand fast in all that Christ has given us reality rather than ritual. This may be a prophetic word in this day when many seek to structure God's work for Him.

It is for this reason that He has not only saved us but He has made us His Sons, so that we too can call Him Father. 'The Family of God' examines the intimate relationship that we can have with Him.

The Law of creation is that 'kind' begets 'kind'. In our natural families we know that this is true, but the wonder of our salvation is that it is also true in the Spiritual Family. When we were bom again we therefore received the very nature of God. 'Like Father, Like Son' examines the laws of Spiritual Inheritance.

One of the most misunderstood words in the Bible is the word 'adoption'. 'Preparing God's Sons' gives details of what adoption meant in the ancient world and shows how many of the things which occur in our lives are part of God's training programme for His sons.

If we are sons we are also heirs. It is the inheritance which comes to us because we are sons which is the theme of the final study. May it inspire us and prepare us for that day when we will throw our crowns at His feet.

The kings of the ancient world used to put a mark or seal on the things that belonged to them. This mark did more than just prove ownership: with it went the protection and authority of the king. God has put the seal of His blood and the seal of His Holy Spirit upon all those who believe on Him. This seal or mark upon us carries the very authority of God and means that God will fight for us should the devil or any other enemy try to affect us.

Throughout history God has dwelt among men. The Tabernacle and later the Temple were both places where the 'Shekinah' or dwelling presence of God was manifested. In 'God With Us' Roger expounds the principle of God's dwelling place, and describes the architecture of Solomon's Temple.

All that the Tabernacle and the Temple represented came into reality when Jesus was born on the Earth. 'And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us and we beheld his glory.' John 1 v14 (BNV). Roger reveals the details of that fulfilment in the second talk.

Not only does Jesus fulfil the picture given of the Temple, but in a wonderful way each one of us has our part and we collectively fulfil it.
